From the author...
Spelling has always been challenging for me. To this day, I think before I write accept or except. (I always have a dictionary within reach.) I know that many kids, and adults too, face the same struggle. But, as I tell my own kids, we are all very good at somethings. And, we all need a little help with other things. For those things that we may not be so good at, we need to find the tools that help us excel. I sincerely hope that Mable's Magic Spell is a learning tool for my young readers. Please don't read the book just once with your child. Read it many times. The repetition is so good for kids. Mable's Magic Spell will help children learn some simple clues that will enable them to spell everyday words.
Enjoy Mable! She is a lot of fun!
